A Client Story…Amazing Grace... how sweet the sound!
Seeing the results of evangelism on our layette deliveries
...The client was ecstatic and made such a fuss about the layette and about her counselor, Nancy Cardillo. She said that she called the office to tell Nancy the good news and wanted her to come and see the baby. The office informed her that Nancy was on leave but since I kept in contact with Nancy I was glad to give her an update for her. She was so appreciative.
One thing that struck me was that her father, who we got to know when we first arrived at the home, was a believer, but his daughter had never made a decision to follow Jesus Christ. Then I thought isn't that just like our own children. We all have children who for whatever reason are not walking with the Lord as we know they should.
The father was very talkative, so I asked one of our team to spend some time conversing with him so I could witness to his daughter. Finally, we presented the Gospel to her, and she was ready to make a full commitment to Jesus. As we started to pray to ask Jesus into her heart, her father started playing Amazing Grace on the piano! The kicker... he had no idea that his daughter was in the other room giving her life to Christ!! Forget goosebumps... I had GODBUMPS!!!!
I am always in awe at how God plans these EE visits. To God be the glory!
